Melco offers PCI and CardBus FireWire/USB solutions Melco Inc. released two USB2.0/IEEE1394 interface cards, one of them being a CardBus (IFC-CB2IU2/UC), and the other (IFC-PCI7IU2) – PCI board. The novelties should arrive for sale in mid- or late June for about $74 and $36.![]() IFC-CB2IU2/UC features 1 USB (USB A) and 1 IEEE1394 (4-pin) ports supporting the maximum of 480Mbps USB throughput and 400Mbps IEEE1394 throughput. It consumes up to 1.3W. Sized 54x121x13mm, it weighs about 47g. ![]() IFC-PCI7IU2 offers more ports: 3 external and 1 internal USB; 2 external and 1 internal IEEE1394. MSI CR52-A2 52/24/52 CD-R/RW @ Bjorn3D "One of the most important aspects in my opinion about a drive like this is value, and I think the CR52-A2 is a good value. Additionally, I think the average user would be quite happy with its performance, especially with higher rated media. MSI has packed in some good features and thankfully included good software. And you can´t blame us for it, because this TDK DVD writer is certainly one of the best-looking drive we´ve seen around (okay, so that´s just our personal opinion).
