New inexpensive Toshiba Pocket PC e350 to be released in March According to fresh news from Taiwan, Japanese Toshiba is to present a new Pocket PC in March to cost $199. As you know, Dell Computer (with Axim X5) and Hewlett-Packard (with h1910 iPAQ) follow the most aggressive market policy. Toshiba possibly plans to strengthen its positions in this segment with sales of this novelty.According to provisional data, Pocket PC e350 will be produced by Compal Electronics, a Taiwanese contract maker. e350 will feature 300MHz Intel PXA250, 64Mb SDRAM, semi-transparent LCD display. Samsung Q10: based on 933MHz LV Pentium III-M Samsung announced new Q10 notebook in B5 form-factor NQ10TH9300. It features a modern 933MHz LV Mobile Pentium III-M (instead of 866MHz one of the previous model).The notebook bases on Intel 830M integrated chipset and has 12.1" 1024x768 XGA LCD monitor, 256Mb RAM (up to 640Mb), 30Gb HDD, IEEE 802.11b and Ethernet interfaces, PC Card Type II slot, IEEE 1394, USB 1.1 ports. Measured 273x228.8x19.3mm and weighing 1.35kg, it will be also bundled with Windows XP Home Edition and will arrive to Japanese retail for $1200 and higher. The new matrix features 3500 õ 2300 effective resolution (8.05 million pixels, 35x23mm), each pixel is 10x10µm in size. The CCD features bayer standard RGB color mosaic, specially designed for colorimetric applications, with the three colors balanced for a 4500 degrees-K standard lluminant.
