ABIT BH7: a Socket 478 board for overclockers
ABIT announced the new ABIT BH7 Socket 478 ATX motherboard on Intel 845PE chipset, claiming it to support FSBs up to 800MHz and DDR400 memory. In other words, a gift for overclockers and a kind of a claim for Intel’s future CPUs support.
Standard specifications mention Pentium 4 with 533/400MHz FSB and Hyper-Threading support, 3 DDR DIMM sockets (Un-buffered Non-ECC DIMM) for up to 2Gb DDR333 in two sockets or up to 2Gb DDR266/200 in three sockets, AGP slot, 5 PCI slots, USB 2.0 ports, Serial ATA 150 interface, 6-ch. AC97 codec, SPDIF, 10/100M LAN interfaces.
