Xabre600 utilizes Vertexlizer hardware technology and, according to OC Workbench, is designed for entry-level graphics cards. By the way, OC Workbench reported that they’ve overclocked Xabre 600 up to 335/350MHz due to good reference board cooling.

Casio stops shipping Cassiopeia E-2000 Today Casio officially stopped the shipments of Cassiopeia E-2000 PDA due to the cancellation and moving to more modern products.
![]() Naturally, Cassiopeia E-2000 will be selling for some time and Casio Computer will also continue to support all of them. Anyway, Pocket PC 2002 on 206MHz Intel StrongARM, which production started in February, now looks like old.
Sun Microsystems announces new telecom servers Yesterday at ITU Telecom Asia 2002 Conference in Hong Kong Sun Microsystems announced the line of CompactPCI-certified solutions: Netra CT 410 and 810 cPCI telecom servers, Netra CP2140 and CP2160 cPCI blades, and Netra HA Suite Foundation Services (FS) 2.1.
Working under Solaris and Netra HA Suite FS 2.1, Netra CT 410 and 810 cPCI blades are the update of popular Sun Netra CT and provide up to 16 CPU/module and 48 CPU/rack scalability. New servers enable to create up to 7-node clusters in a single cPCI segment.
![]() Netra CT 410 and 810 cPCI telecom servers are based on CP2140 and CP2160 modules on 650 MHz UltraSPARC IIi. Netra CP2140 is a system slot controller with 2 õ 10/100 Ethernet and 2 õ SCSI, PMC slot, up to 4Gb memory. Netra CP2160 cPCI has two PMC slots, front and rear I/O and 10/100 Ethernet ports, 8Mb user flash, 3Gb RAM (including 1Gb built-in and 2Gb slots). Shipments of DC-powered Netra CT 410 and 810 have already started for $19,195 and $22,995; AC-powered models are expected in December. Netra CP2140 shipments have already started as well for over $3,995. Over $4,395 Netra CP2160 will appear early in 2003.
Micron Technology started to ship 32-bit DDR SDRAM Micron Technology announced new 32-bit DDR SDRAM memory in 32Mb to 512Mb modules on DDR266 and DDR333 chips. 256Mb (MT8VDDT6432U), 128Mb (MT4VDDT3232U), 64Mb (MT2VDDT1632U), 32Mb (MT2VDDT832UG) 32-bit DIMM DDR SDRAM samples are already being shipped. 32-bit 512Mb DDR SDRAM (MT8VDDT12832UG) will be announced in Q1 2003.According to Micron, the modules are not standardized yet, but JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council) together with Micron works on it. Pricing information is yet unavailable.
