SiS officially announces Xabre 600
Today SiS announced its new Xabre 600 GPU, made using 0.13-micron technology and featuring 8õ8 (AGP 8x and DirectX 8.1).
GPU clock is 300MHz. Xabre600 utilizes Vertexlizer hardware technology and, according to OC Workbench, is designed for entry-level graphics cards. By the way, OC Workbench reported that they’ve overclocked Xabre 600 up to 335/350MHz due to good reference board cooling.
SiS believes its chip will compete with Radeon 9000 and MX440.
