Most of company´s server strategy remains unchanged also indicating Intel´s assurance in the timely release of the next generation of Gallatin-based Xeon. The announce is still planned to the 1Q, 2003. First, we´ll see the 2 GHz, 1.9 GHz, and 1.5 GHz chips with 2 MB, 1 MB, and 1 MB L3 cache, respectively.2.80 GHz Xeon, expected soon, are to be used with previous Serverworks GC-HE and E7500 chipsets; the new Xeon chipset E7501 supporting 533 MHz FSB is to appear only the next quarter. Pentium III-S CPUs with 512 KB cache are to quit the stage closer to the end of 2002.

A couple of new mainstream graphic cards from Hercules In the near future Hercules plans to start the deliveries of two new mainstream graphic cards based on ATi RADEON 7500LE (230 MHz core clock rate): 3D Prophet 7500 LE DDR 64MB and 3D Prophet 7500 LE SDR 128MB, featuring the integrated TV encoder supporting up to 1024x768 resolution in PAL & NTSC. 3D Prophet 7500 LE DDR 64MB also features 64MB DDR RAM with a 64-bit memory bus, VGA + TV out. 3D Prophet 7500 LE SDR 128MB has 128MB SDR RAM, VGA + TV out.
