Intel cuts processor prices yet again
Traditionally Intel updated its processor price list with some new additions: Pentium M 738 (1.40 GHz, LV; $284), Pentium M 733 (1.10 GHz, ULV; $262), Pentium M 723 (1 GHz, ULV; $241).
At the same time, Intel updated Centrino kits that, as you know, include Intel 855GM/855PM chipset and Intel Pro/Wireless 2100/2200BG WLAN components. These cost $299 to $356 in 1,000-unit quantities.
Besides, prices were cut down to $186 for 90nm 2.80 GHz Mobile Intel Pentium 4 with Hyperthreading, 1 MB L2 cache. The same price now has 130nm 2.80 GHz Mobile Intel Pentium 4 with HT and 512 KB L2.
