TerraTec Aureon 7.1 Universe: the new 8-channel 24bit/192kHz soundcard
TerraTec Electronic introduced its new internal 8-channel soundcard, Aureon 7.1 Universe, supplied with a front panel module and a remote control. Supporting 24bit/192kHz playback as well as Sensaura 3D, EAX, ASIO, A3D, DirectSound technologies, this is one of the most advanced solutions of the company.
TerraTec Aureon 7.1 Universe brief specs:
- Supports 4G Sound, DirectSound / 3D, A3D 1.0, EAX 1.0, EAX 2.0, MacroFX, EnvironmentFX, MultiDrive, ZoomFX technologies
- 8/16/24-bit, up to 96kHz input resolution
- 8/16/24-bit, up to 192kHz output resolution
- Separate level controls for each audio input
- Fits into a PCI slot
- Digital optical/coaxial 44.1/48/96 kHz input/output (TOS link)
- Supplied with Windows 2000/XP drivers, Intervideo WinDVD (8-channel version), Algorithmix Sound Rescue (TerraTec Edition 2.0)
Aureon 7.1 Universe is expected in European retail already in December. In Germany it should cost about 249 euros.
