Java
The gap is reduced to 3.7 times, because the Java Virtual Machine doesn't care much about the amount of cache. This lets smaller-cache CPUs demonstrate decent results.

These tests do not require large cache as well, but the gap is more than 4 times. Actually, the absolute results of all CPUs indicate there's no sense in choosing them by this parameter. But these tests still remain interesting, because parallelization is kind of "head-on" in this case. It shows how your PC will perform, if you run a few heavy tasks. However, this group isn't going to surprise us. It's obvious that even an old quad-core CPU like Phenom X4 9850 is still better than any classic dual-core. And that Hyper-Threading is very useful, providing up to 30% boost, other things being equal.
