Data compression
The 2.5 times difference, like in the previous case. However, this time the day is saved by archivers' love towards cache, not multithreading optimizations. Celeron, with its 1MB cache, is the slowest here not without a reason. In turn, the fastest CPU has both the highest clock rate and 8MB L3 and 1MB L2 cache total (only half is used when two cores are loaded, but that's good enough).
Compilation (VC++)
Visual Studio likes all means of increasing CPU performance, so the gap between the slowest and the fastest is close to the maximum -- more than 4.5 times. Well, at least some incentive to spend more cash.
