ASUS Introduces W6 Premium Edition Notebook

ASUS today introduced the 13.3" widescreen W6 Premium Edition notebook positioned as a stylish system for professionals.

The LCD cover was subjected to an advanced paint treatment that makes it ultra reflective. The special coating brings elegance to the white W6 and protects the notebook from bumps and scratches.

The 13.3" widescreen is backed by such proprietary video technologies as Color Shine, Splendid Video Intelligence Engine and special panel v-cut technology.

Besides, the notebook has Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) Bluetooth for omnidirectional wireless connection, data transfers claimed to be three times faster than that of standard Bluetooth. It also features a built-in wireless mouse receiver, WLAN and Bluetooth on/off hot key.

EDGE Tech Announces 8GB Flash Drive

EDGE Tech announced the latest USB flash drive addition to its DiskGO! line - the new 8GB DiskGO! USB 2.0 Flash Drive. The unit is priced at $599 and will be sold to the channel and from the company's Web site.

Using the included SecureGuard software, the 8GB DiskGO! is password protected and measures 3.37" x 1.05" x .59" in size and weighs half an ounce.

The package includes a keychain grommet, EasyBoot software, built-in clip, three foot extension cable, lanyard and removable cap.

The DiskGO! Product line comes with a lifetime warranty and toll-free technical support.
