Toshiba Qosmio officially unveiled
Toshiba officially unveiled its Qosmio E10 multimedia notebook that will be shipping worldwide from August 6 on. The company will ship not one, but three models at once, each with 15" display. And by the end of 2004 Toshiba is going to offer 15.4" and 17" models.

E10/1KLDEW will be based on Intel 855PM board, 64MB NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 5200 and will support 802.11 b/g. The junior E10/1JCDT will be based on Intel 852GM and 1.40 GHz Celeron M 330.
Sized 338x285x43.1mm, notebooks weigh 3.5 kg. Other features include Li-Ion batteries, PC Card Type II slot, card reader, 4 x USB 2.0, 1 x IEEE1394, S/PDIF out, 2 x 30mm 2W speakers, D-Sub, S-Video in/out, 2 x D2.
The bundle includes QosmioPlayer, QosmioUI software. The former enables to work with TV tuner and HDD/CD/DVD without booting Windows. While QosmioUI is used for various CD/DVD operations.
Soltek SL-K8TPro-939 officially announced
Soltek officially announced its new SL-K8TPro-939 motherboard based on VIA K8T800 Pro chipset and designed for AMD 64-bit Socket 939 processors. SL-K8TPro-939 features improved asynchronous bus, supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, JBOD Disk Array, has a number of overclocking features (FSB, DIMM, AGP, chipset clock/voltage adjust). It also has LEDs for diagnosing incorrect module installation or cabling.

Shuttle introduced its new barebone on FN95 motherboard based on nForce 3 Ultra (Athlon64 Socket 939) SN95G5. Judging by chipset, we suggest the following features: 1 GHz Hypertransport, dual-channel DDR400 SDRAM, AGP 8x, Serial ATA RAID, Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire 400, 32-bit PCI. PN15 WLAN module is an option.
Other features of SN95G5 include ICE (integrated cooling engine) with 92mm fan.
