The samples now cost ¥9000 ($85) and over.

Plextor presents MPEG1/2/4, DivX converter, ConvertX PX-M402U Plextor presented the first in Europe MPEG4 converter, ConvertX PX-M402U, that can convert input video stream into MPEG1/2, MPEG4, and DivX. The device has a USB 2.0 interface, stereo audio input, S-Video, and composite video. The software bundle includes Intervideo WinDVD Player and WinDVD.

Panasonic releases VDR-M70K video camera with a DVD writer Panasonic (Matsushita Electric Industrial) again released an interesting product. This usual looking video camera has a rather unusual feature capability of writing the recorded data onto DVD-RAM/R (80mm).

S/U/M/A/ introduces PLATINUM GeForce4 MX4000 Value 128MB card with 5ns memory Korean S/U/M/A/ introduced its new graphics card on NVIDIA GeForce4 MX4000 GPU, SUMA PLATINUM GeForce4 MX4000 Value 128MB. The model obviously features 128MB RAM (5ns, TSOP), 64-bit bus, 275/400 MHz clock rates.
