Live from CeBIT 2003: overclocking Pentium 4 over 4GHz, no extra cooling required Overclocked processors are pet subject of any computer show. This time ASUS has drawn our attention by presenting a system on 3.06GHz Pentium 4 overclocked over 4GHz without any special cooling, but a usual Thermaltake’s fan:AMD Athlon XP-M Preview Article @ Bjorn3D "With a full line of Athlon Thoroughbred and Barton based mobile CPUs, AMDs XP-M processors appear poised to attack the ever growing mobile market. SiS748: a new AMD K7 chipset supporting 400MHz FSB and DDR400 SiS updated its AMD K7 chipset line with the new SiS748 supporting 400MHz FSB, DDR400 and AGP8X. I’m sure whether SiS’s 400MHz FSB support indirectly confirms rumours that AMD prepares to release such processors closer to May, or this is just a show of strength. Anyway this sounds prospective.SiS748 Northbridge will be coupled with SiS963L Southbridge interconnected by 16-bit full-duplex 533MHz MuTIOL 1G bus. Besides, it will support USB 2.0/1.1, 5.1-ch. AC97 sound, 10/100Mb Ethernet and Home PNA2.0. Shipment dates are not availavble at the moment.

This will not only be our first look at motherboards, but also our first glimpse as to what Nvidia’s nForce2 chipset has to offer. Most of you know that the initial nForce chipset made high claims and delivered a flat, non competitive chipset, which very few desired.
