No more Socket478 Pentium 4 1.9 GHz, Celeron Socket 370 1.3 GHz, Pentium III-S 1.33/1.4 GHz
Intel stopped the production of 0.18-micron 1.9 GHz Socket478 Pentium 4 along with 1.3 GHz Socket 370 Celeron, 1.33 GHz 1.4 GHz Pentium III-S (0.13-micron 512KB L2 cache).
Naturally stock sales will continue. It’s interesting that currently the only Socket 370 chips produced is Celeron 1.4 GHz.

Kingston doubles DRAM purchases from Infineon
Kingston Technology decided to increase DRAM purchases from Infineon Technologies from 10% of all purchased DDR chips to 20% and even 30%.
Currently Kingston´s total DRAM needs make about 20 million 128 Mbit chips. Despite the current DDR production leaders are Samsung Electronics and Nanya Technology, Infineon can also state 30% DDR shipments increase in September.
Pricing and other aspects are being negotiated.
