PowerColor Rolls Out Liquid-Cooled Radeon HD 6990
TUL Corporation, the company behind the PowerColor brand, rolled out its first liquid-cooled Radeon HD 6990: PowerColor LCS HD6990 4GB GDDR5. The cooler has been provided by EKwaterblocks.
PowerColor LCS HD6990 has a water block mounted on the card, fully covering the key components to be cooled down. The company claims that GPU temperatures are now up to 30% lower, thanks to the LCS.
The card comes bundled with a high-flow 3/8" and 1/2" fittings (barbs) to maximize waterflow with captured O-rings to prevent leakage.
