Cebit 2005: Sapphire´s new graphics cards and a High-End motherboard
Our Alexander Vorobiev is at the moment in Germany at Cebit 2005 sending us the hot news and photos from this event. First, let us introduce novelties from Sapphire Technologies.
ATI Xpress 200 based motherboard. Said not to compete with such brands as ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, etc. in the mainstream segment (in other words, the price will be rather high). Positioned for hardcore gamers. The white-red corresponds the latest ATI High-End graphics.
Sapphire introduces the new Ultimate series of graphics cards with Zalman coolers. Positioned for overclockers (and hardcore gamers).
As you know, X800XL series from Sapphire featured very noisy and not that effective cooling. This has been fixed to the following:
And this is the Sapphire´s TV tuner prototype. No details available yet.
The Xpress 200 based platform enables to work with three monitors at once (integrated graphics + two connectors on the PCI-E graphics cards.
