NVIDIA GeForce 6200TC officially announced
NVIDIA officially announced its new GeForce 6200 GPU supporting TurboCache technology. TurboCache is in many aspects similar to ATI Hyper Memory allocating system memory for graphics needs. The novelty is positioned for the market of inexpensive graphics cards.
GeForce 6200:
- Hardware support of Microsoft DirectX 9.0, Shader Model 3.0
- NVIDIA PureVideo
- NVIDIA ForceWare, UDA (Unified Driver Architecture)
- 128-bit bus
- 1.2 billion texels/s fillrate
- 225 vertexes/s
- 400 MHz RAMDAC
The GPU clock rate is rumoured to be 350 MHz. It´s also possible that GeForce 6200TC cards will have 32/64 MB memory with 700 or 550 MHz clock rate.
