AMD showcases dual-core processors At IDF AMD, according to its Japanese branch, showcased a working prototype of a dual-core Opteron in a 4-processor Proliant DL585 server that was recognized as a 8-way model by software.
According to the source, AMD makes its dual-core CPUs using 90nm process. The showcase won´t change company´s roadmap and such products will enter the market not before mid-2005. Source: PC Watch
