Nokia 7260, 7270, 7280: three new fashion phones

At Totally Fashion show in Shanghai the company announced three new handsets: Nokia 7260, 7270, and 7280.

Nokia 7260, resembling 7610, is desinged for GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz networks. It has TFT LCD display (128x128 @ 65,536 colors), digital VGA camera (640x480) and weighs 92 g. Talk time is 3 hours, while standby is 350 hours.

More traditional Nokia 7270 clamshell for personalization needs utilizes textile cases instead of plastic panels. Nokia 7270 is sized 88x46x22 mm and weighs 121 g. The internal TFT display has resolution of 128x160 @ 65,536 colors, while the external one is 96x65 @ 4,096 colors. The digital camera has resolution of 640x480 and 4x digital zoom. The handset also works in GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz networks and supports Push To Talk (PTT) and EDGE. Talk time is 4 hours, while standby is 270 hours.

Nokia 7280 is the most unusual of all three. Sized 115x32x19 mm, it weighs 84 g. As its width provides no place for keyboard, 7280 is exclusively controlled by voice. Nokia 7280 works in GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz networks, supports Bluetooth, has 104x208 @ 65,536-color LCD display. Talk time is 3 hours, standby is 240 hours.

All three handsets support SMS, MMS, feature XHTML browsers and email clients, basic PIM apps, FM radio and OMA content protection. Novelties are expected to go on sale in Q4 this year.
