OCZ introduces PC2-4300 Enhanced Bandwidth DDR2 Platinum Edition

OCZ Technology updated its Platinum Edition series with DDR2-533 SDRAM Enhanced Bandwidth modules. Traditionally PC2-4300 products feature copper platinum-coloured reflective heatsinks. Novelties are offered both separately (256MB, OCZ2533256EBPE; and 512MB OCZ2533512EBPE), and in kits (512MB, 2x256MB, OCZ2533512EBEDCPE-K and 1GB, 2x512MB, OCZ25331024EBEDCPE-K).

Modules require 1.8V voltages and have CL 4-3-3-12 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS) timings. Similar to some other company products, PC2-4300 modules utilize Extended Voltage Protection (EVP) technology, so users can overclock them up to 2.2V±5% without risking the warranty.
