Photo of the day: AVerTV Studio Model 307 TV tuner in our lab
We are currently testing another tuner from AVerMedia Technologies Inc., AVerTV Studio Model 307. The model differs from the previous solutions by (305, in particular) by NICAM stereo support.
The bundle includes:
- Tuner itself
- Remote control
- External remote IrDA sensor
- Cable to soundcard line-in
- FM antenna
- Software CD
- Manual
According to our tuner guru, Alexey Samsonov, very noticeable is the lack of usual electrolytic capacitors. Nothing to worry about, they are replaced by more effective, reliable and long-living ceramicons.
The receiver is the same Philips FM1256/IH-3, while ADC is Philips SAA7134HL with aforementioned stereo support.
