Turtle Beach unveils Catalina and Riviera sound cards
Turtle Beach unveiled two new multi-channel sound cards, Catalina and Riviera, that finish the series started by Santa Cruz. According to the press release, both will go on sale within these weeks.
The cards are designed for gamers, professional and amateur musicians, and for those building their home theatres. The 8-channel Catalina supporting 2, 4, 5.1 and 7.1 systems costs $79. It has 24bit/96kHz optical digital inputs and outputs.
The MSRP of 6-channel Riviera supporting 2,4, 5.1 systems is about $40. It features game/MIDI and optical S/PDIF interfaces.
Catalina:
- Optical S/PDIF input, 24bit/96KHz
- Optical S/PDIF output, 24bit @ 48KHz or 96KHz
- SPDIF supports multi-channel Dolby Digital and DTS for external A/V receivers
