ASUS at CeBIT 2004: motherboards
Let´s continue our tour around the ASUS booth and proceed to motherboards. Due to serious changes in chipset camps the Spring is bringing the similar serious motherboard families updates. But let´s start with a still semi-exotic ATI Radeon IGP9100. Having it coupled with IXP150 Southbridge, ASUS demonstrated two boards on it: P4R800-V Deluxe ATX and P4R800-VM µATX.

A real exotic was the P5GD1 board on i915P (Grantsdale-P) chipset offering the support of the new LGA775 processors with 800MHz FSB, dual-channel DDR400, int. Gigabit LAN and High Definition Audio (former Azalia):

P5GD2 model bases on the same chipset for the same LGA775 processors, but already supports dual-channel DDR2-533, SATA RAID, Gigabit LAN, IEEE1394, High Definition Audio:

Another very interesting model, P5VD1, on VIA PT890 + VT8237 chipset also supporting LGA775 processors, dual-channel DDR400, SATA RAID, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel audio:

As it has been usual for the recent years, ASUS showcases a number of overclockers solutions. In particular, a system on ASUS P4C800, 2 x 256MB Kingston modules, ASUS V9520 and 3.2GHz Pentium 4 overclocked to 5GHz!
And another operational motherboard for processors yet to arrive to retail Socket 939 Athlon 64. For them ASUS introduced A8V Deluxe product on VIA K8T800 Pro + VT8237 chipset.
