Intel´s toys — Intel Personal Video Player
Emerging Platforms Lab, Intel subsidiary, has launched the development of a Wi-Fi audio / video player.
The novelty from Intel will be named Personal Video Player (PVP). It will have 4" color screen (320x240 res.), Intel Xscale processor and 20GB hard disk (reference model).
The device´s supported formats will include MPEG2, MPEG4 and, perhaps, DivX. Weight will be about 340 g, price — about 400 euro, expected availability — 2003.
