Two new 4-megapixel cameras from Sony
Sony announced two new 4-megapixel cameras: DSC-F77 and DSC-FX77. They??ll be available for sale on November 9 from about 60000 yens ($510) and 50000 yens ($425), respectively.

Both cams feature an interesting 300°-rotating lens (so, you can take a picture of yourself, if needed). The senior and more expensive model DSC-FX77 ³C differs from DSC-F77 by a built-in Bluetooth module, providing about 350 Kbps data tranfers in 10-meter radius. Other specifications are: fixed focus lens, 37-mm focal length (35-mm equiv.), F:2.8 aperture, up to 10 cm macro. Sensor: 1/1.8-inch CCD, 4 million effective pixels, 3.5x digital zoom.

Cameras support 2272?â1704, 2272?â1520, 1600?â1200, 1280?â960, 640?â480 resolutions. Additionally they support 320?â240 and 160?â120 MPEG-1 movies recording. Used storage Memory Stick, 16MB card included.

Dimensions are: FX77 ³C 92.6Ú27Ú71 mm, F77 ³C 98.1x27x71 mm, weight: 157 and 152 g. Batteries are said to provide 100 min operation.

Note the interesting design of DC-In and AV/USB in the bottom part of the body. Batteries are charged via USB.
