RightMark Audio Analyzer is an independent non-commercial open source audiomeasuring project, developed by iXBT.com.
The RightMark Audio Analyzer test kit is designed for testing sound card and other sound equipment acoustic characteristics. The testing is conducted by playing back and recording test signals, passed through the examined sound path. Then a user can browse and save test results. For those unfamiliar with technical parameters measured, the software provides a notational mark, including: "bad", "average", "good", "very good", "excellent".
The source code is open for anyone for browsing and compilation (Microsoft Visual C++ and Borland C++ Builder projects posted). The constructive software discussions take place in the post-moderated forum.
