Photo of the day: Intel D845PEBT2 multimedia mobo on i845PE
In our lab we currently test new Intel D845PEBT2 motherboard (on the photo).
It has ATX design, bases on i845PE chipset, and supports Socket 478 Intel Pentium 4 with 400/533 MHz FSB and Hyper-Threading, and Socket 478 Intel Celeron with 400 MHz FSB. It has two 184-pin DDR SDRAM sockets (up to 2GB DDR333/DDR266), AGP 4õ slot, 5 PCI slots, 6 USB 2.0 ports, 3 optional IEEE 1394a-2000 ports, SATA RAID (Sil 3112A), supporting RAID 0, 1.
Audio part is interesting: the board has 6-channel AD1980 codec, analog, dogital coaxial and optical outputs, supports SoundMAX Cadenza. The package includes a stereo mic and 3 programs for it: Net2Phone for calls over Internet, ViaVoice voice recognition, Enigma: Rising Tide game, supporting voice control.
