Plextor announces PlexWriter 40/12/40S external Ultra SCSI recorder
Plextor Europe announced the new PlexWriter 40/12/40S external Ultra SCSI CD-RW drive.
The novelty supports 40/12/40 speeds, has 4Mb buffer, supports BURN-Proof, PoweRec and VariRec. The read access time is 120 ms, Mount Rainier support and self-test function are featured as well.
PlexWriter 40/12/40S Ultra SCSI will arrive to retail in February 2003 for about 299 euro (w/o VAT). The retail bundle will include the drive itself, one CD-R and one CD-RW blank, power cable, Nero + InCD, Plextor PlexTools software, and user’s manual.
