CES 2003, Creative: Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum eX and MegaWorks THX 6.1 650
At CES 2003 Creative Technology announced the line of new products, including the new Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum eX soundcard and 6.1-ch. MegaWorks THX 6.1 650 sound system.
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum eX, added to Audigy 2-based familt of solutions, resembles the previous products, but unlike Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum 2, bundled with a front-panel module, new Audigy 2 Platinum eX features the external multi-purpose module with card controls, interfaces, remote control receiver, etc.
Besides, Creative presented the new 6.1-ch. MegaWorks THX 6.1 650 sound system, featuring 6 satellites and a subwoofer, providing 600W of Burst Power. I guess more details are to follow.
