IBM releases new ThinkVision monitor line
IBM announced the first monitor of the new ThinkVision line IBM ThinkVision L200p. This release is a part of the "Think" enterprise strategy. The monitor is intended for various applications, including CAD/CAM, sci-graphics, desktop publishing, etc.
ThinkVision L200p features 20.1" panel supporting optimal 1600x1200 (UXGA), provides 250cd/m² brightness, 400:1 contrast, 170° vertical and horizontal viewing angle. The model also has analog and DVI connectors. As for controls, L200p allows direct brightness and automatic image adjust and input selection. In Central, Eastern Europe and Middle East the device will cost about $1920, volume shipments are scheduled to the end of February.
