I-O Data releases SM and CF readers along with industrial CF and new SD products
I-O Data announced two readers: CompactFlash (US2-CFRW) and Smart Media (US2-SMRW) USB 2.0/1.1 CompactFlash / Smart Media Reader/Writer. Both will be available in mid-April.
Measured 56.0x66.5x15.5mm, devices weigh about 25 and 29 g (USB2-CFRW and USB2-SMRW, respectively). Power supply – 5V DC, input current – 500mA.
Besides, the company announced a like of industrial CF cards with 32, 64 and 128 Mb capacities (CFS-iV32, CFS-iV64, CFS-iV128) capable of working at –40°C to +85°C range.
Cards require 3.3V±5% or 5V±10%, consume 75mA (at 3.3V) and 100mA (at 5V). Card dimensions are 36.4x42.8x3.3mm (Type I), weight – about 9 g.
Finally, I-O Data presented 256Mb Secure Digital card – PCSD-T256M with 2Mb/s throughput. It consumes 100mA, is measured 24.0x32.0x2.1mm and weighs about 2 g.
256Mb and 512Mb cards PCSD-256MS and PCSD-512MS – with 10Mb/s throughput are still to be released.
