Acer AL707: a new 17" monitor
Japanese branch of Acer announced sales of its new 17" Acer AL707 monitor.
Acer AL707 supports 1280x1024 (SXGA) at 0.264mm dot pitch; features 250cd/m² brightness, 500:1 contrast, 20ms response time. Viewing angles are 125° vertical and 150° horizontal, line scan is 31–80kHz, frame scan — 55–75Hz.
The model has analog connector and consumes up to 45W. Measured 407x173x434mm, the monitor weighs 5.8kg. According to provisional data, in Japan Acer AL707 will cost about $420.
