I-O Data announces 80Gb external and 250Gb internal hard drives
I-O Data announced two new HDDs: 80Gb external HDP-U80P and 250Gb internal HDI-250GS8. Both will be available in mid-June for $428 and $541.
HDP-U80P supports USB2.0/1.1 powering from either USB, or an AC adapter. It works under Windows 98/Me/2000/XP, Mac OS 9 — 9.2/Mac OS X 10.0.3 — 10.2. Sized 17x82x139.5mm, it weighs about 200g.
HDI-250GS8 is a 3.5" 7200rpm IDE drive (UltraATA/133) with 8Mb buffer. It works under Windows 98/Me/2000/XP, Mac OS X 10.2.3.
