HP announces a new Compaq Evo Mobile Workstation N800w model
Hewlett-Packard extended its Compaq Evo Mobile Workstation N800w family with a new model on 2.4GHz Pentium 4-M and Intel 845MP chipset.

As you know, in September 2002 HP was one of the first to use MOBILITY RADEON FireGL 9000 GPU in its notebooks. The current model has the same GPU with 64Mb video RAM. Besides, the notebook has 15" 1600x1200 UXGA LCD, 1Gb of PC2100 (up to 2Gb), 60Gb HDD, DVD/CD-RW combo. Sized 327x266x38mm, it weighs 2.98kg. Together with Windows XP Professional, the new station will cost about $3800 in Japan.
