CECT readies watches with built-in phone
Following Samsung and NTT DoCoMo, Chinese Electronics Corporation Telecom (CECT)
is planning to start sales of CDMA2000 1xRTT phone that is built in watches.
According to sources, the phone will be made by South Korean Telson Electronics.
It is planned to produce about 30 000 such devices as the gadget is rather expensive
– about $1070. The telephone is equipped with CSTN LCD (256 colors), offers
16 ringtones. Moreover, there is possibility to attach rotating VGA-camera.
We reckon it will be the most expensive cellular phone in China.
