Cooling

This cooler is simple and familiar. The fan is located inside the heatsink. It doesn't eject air out of the PC enclosure. Memory chips are also cooled.

HIS IceQ RADEON HD 5670 512MB

The IceQ cooler, also familiar, has been working on HIS products for a few years now. Made by Arctic Cooling, this solution is very efficient and quiet. It's covered heatsink with a turbine on the one end. It drives air through the heatsink and ejects it out of the PC enclosure. Note that it doesn't cool memory chips.

Also note that due to cooler dimensions this graphics card occupies two slots.

Traditionally, we monitored temperatures using RivaTuner. Since all cards have showed similar results, we publish those of the Chaintech's solution.

As we can see, the core temperature isn't critical, not exceeding 72°C. This is a good result for a modern graphics card. But it's still strange that such a low-end solution has such a hot core. Temperatures of $80-90 cards that we have monitored before have never exceeded 60°C.

Note that both coolers performed similarly. IceQ didn't provide any benefits.

Bundles

A basic bundle for such a card should include the following items: a user manual, a software CD. Now let's see what other accessories are bundled with each card.

As we mentioned some time ago, HIS had changed the design of its graphics card boxes. The jackets had become vertical. The card is still securely fixed to avoid transportation issues.
