Multitasking Environment
This is one of our experimental tests, results of which are not included in the summary. The idea of the test is simple: five benchmarks are run one after another in 15-second intervals; all tasks are sent to background (none of their windows is active). The result is a geometrical mean of completion times.
This time it seems like another group of multi-threaded benchmarks with a lot of factors affecting the results. Between an old architecture, a single slow core, and small cache and new architecture, six fast cores, Hyper-Threading, and large cache any technical characteristic may become critical.
