Sony to Challenge Existing Phablets With 5-inch 1080p Odin Xperia Smartphone
According to a leak by Blue Ringer Men, Sony’s (SNE) rumored flagship C650 “Odin” smartphone is going to be be a challenge for current "phablet king", Galaxy Note II.
The novelty will have a 5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM. And if all goes well, it should also have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as well. The website says that Sony will reveal the new smartphone at CES in January, which Sony has traditionally used as a launchpad to showcase its latest smartphone devices.

AMD Refreshes FX Processors Line-Up
Today AMD has announced an update to its FX series. At the heart of the latest AMD FX processor is the new "Piledriver" multi-core architecture that promises up to a 15 percent increase in performance at a lower price than the previous generation starting at less than $200.
Starting today, the new AMD FX CPUs will be available from global retailers.
