Motorola Unveils Atom-powered RAZR i Smartphone
Motorola unveiled Motorola RAZR i, its first Atom-based smartphone made in cooperation with Intel. The novelty is claimed to be the first smartphone that can achieve 2 GHz CPU speed.
Motorola RAZR i features a 4.3-inch qHD 540x960 Super AMOLED Advanced display and an instant-launch 8-megapixel camera claimed to be capable of capturing 10 pictures in less than a second. Motorola also promises 20 hours of battery life for mixed usage. Being the part of the Motorola RAZR family, RAZR i is made of protective materials like Corning Gorilla Glass, DuPont KEVLAR fibre2, and splash-guard coating.
Motorola RAZR i will be available in black in October in select European and Latin American markets, including the UK, France, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, with more to be announced. The white version will arrive to the select markets later. Pricing and availability will vary by country.
