Scythe Releases Chouriki 2 80 PLUS Silver PSU Series

Japanese Scythe started selling the new Chouriki 2 Power Supply series. These PSUs are 80 PLUS Silver certified and have efficiency over 90%. The series includes 650W, 750W, 850W and 1000W models. You can choose between modular and standard variants.

Made of quality Japanese parts, the new PSUs have a lot of protection circuitry, including OCP (Overcurrent Protection), OVP (Overvoltage Protection), OPP (Overpower/Overload Protection, SCP (Short Circuit Protection), UVP (Undervoltage Protection) and OTP (Overtemperature Protection).

Each PSU has a 135mm fan of the Scythe Kama Flex series. In turn, the fan has S-FDB (Sony Fluid Dynamic Bearing) that should provide up to 120,000 hours MTBF, as well as low noise. Fan speed is automatically adjusted to PSU load and temperature.

Scythe backs all Chouriki 2 PSUs with a 5-year warranty.
