G.Skill Releases DDR3-1800 Flare Modules for the AM3 Platform
G.Skill International launched its latest Flare series of high-performance DDR3 kits rated at 1800MHz, and optimized for the AM3 790 and 890 platforms with AMD C3 stepping processors.
The new Flare series consists of the DDR3 kits:
- DDR3-1800MHz 4GB (2GBx2) CL6-8-6-24 1.65V
- DDR3-1800MHz 4GB (2GBx2) CL7-8-7-24 1.65V
- DDR3-1800MHz 4GB (2GBx2) CL8-8-8-24 1.65V
- DDR3-1800MHz 4GB (2GBx2) CL9-9-9-27 1.65V

Onkyo Introduces Stylish DP312 Nettop
Yesterday Onkyo introduced a new stylish DP312 nettop.
The novelty is based on an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU and the NVIDIA ION chipset. Offered for about $700, the basic configuration features 2GB RAM, a 320GB HDD, and an optical drive capable of burning DVD±R DL media. Sized 156x47x163 mm, the nettop weighs 1.2kg.
If you spend some extra bucks, you can have 4GB RAM, a 500GB HDD and a digital TV/AM/FM tuner. That and a 21.5-inch monitor.
