Fujitsu Announces Widescreen LifeBook C1410

Fujitsu Announces Widescreen LifeBook C1410

Fujitsu Computer Systems announced the affordably priced LifeBook C1410 thin and light notebook configurable as low as $1,039.

Powered by the latest Intel Core Duo processor, the Windows Vista-capable LifeBook C1410 notebook easily handles demanding applications. An ample 15.4-inch wide Crystal View XGA display shows 30 percent more information than a conventional 15-inch display, useful for viewing spreadsheet applications or for playing DVD movies in wide-screen format.

Weighing less than 6.4 pounds, the LifeBook C1410 notebook offers long battery life with the ability to run up to 11 hours with a high-capacity main battery and a second battery in the built-in modular bay.

The LifeBook C1410 notebook offers embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 to protect data and authenticate users, two-level hard disk drive password protection, as well as embedded BIOS support for Absolute Software Corporation’s Computrace theft protection and secure asset tracking solutions. With typical Fujitsu durability and a spill-resistant keyboard, the LifeBook C1410 notebook is protected from a variety of accidents.

The LifeBook C1410 offers modem, Gigabit LAN and Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network connection. The LifeBook C1410 notebook can also be equipped with integrated Bluetooth wireless technology for connecting to a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone or PDA. The model features Secure Digital card slot and Dual-Layer Multi-Format DVD Writer.

The Fujitsu LifeBook C1410 notebook, priced starting at $1,039 for a base configuration, is immediately available through the Fujitsu direct sales force, website, channel partners and select retail outlets.
