AMD Introduces AMD Geode LX EPIC Reference Design Kit
Today AMD announced the availability of the AMD Geode LX EPIC Reference Design Kit (RDK). This RDK will help developers create low-power, high-performance single board computer (SBC) products, enabling faster time to market. This versatile, industry-standard design supports a wide range of rugged industrial SBC applications including data acquisition, video processing, point-of-sale terminals, telecommunications, global positioning satellite (GPS) devices and motion control.

RightMark Memory Analyzer v3.65 Released
The test suite for measuring vital CPU/Chipset/RAM parameters was updated to version 3.65. Changes in this version include:
- Extended maximal tested memory block size to 64 MB (all tests)
- Extended maximal segments count to 64 (cache associativity tests)
- Updated built-in test presets and batches with new block sizes
- Added memory frequency display on test graphs
- Added support for VIA C7/C7-M processors
- New CPU Database entries
