Let´snote T4, W4, R4 and Y4: new notebooks from Panasonic
Matsushita Electric Industrial (Panasonic) updated a number of its notebook series: Let´snote T4, W4, R4 and Y4. Some of the novelties can work for up to 12 hours a today´s record. The new models will go on sale in May bundled with Windows XP Professional. T4 and W4 series differ by titanium bodies that withstand weights up to 100kg.
Let´snote T4 – are single-spindle notebooks with 12.1" (1024x768) display and 9-cell battery (up to 12 hours). These models cost $2,100.
Let´snote T4 bases on Ultra Low Voltage Pentium M 753 1.2GHz and integrated Intel 915GMS Express chipset, have 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD. Sized 268x210.4x24.9-44.3mm, each novelty weighs 1.26kg.
Let´snote W4 also has 12.1" display and, besides, it features a DVD burner. At that it weighs 1,199g. The operation time is up to 8 hours. Notebook dimensions are 268x210.4x24.9-44.3mm.
Let´snote R4 models are even smaller that two previous novelties they have just 10.4" (1024x768) displays. With the approximate price of $1,900, R4 notebooks are similar to Let´snote T4 differing in standalone time 9 hours for R4. And dimensions are 229x183.5x24.2-41.6mm, weight 999g.
Finally, 14.1" (1400x1050) Let´snote Y4 bases on Intel Pentium M 758 1.5GHz and 915GMS Express, has 512MB, 60GB HDD, and a DVD burner. The battery provides up to 7 hours of operation. Sized 309x243x33-46mm, each novelty weighs 1.53kg.
