A Japanese ninja to deal with heat
Japanese Scythe released the new cooler suitable for all CPUs and sockets, Ninja Heatpipe Fanless CPU Cooler SCNJ-1000. The novelty is polished so you modders will be glad to see the reflections on its surface.
Features:
- Latches for any socket
- "One touch" installation onto Socket478
- Polished side to CPU
- 6 heatpipes (output from both sides)
- 110x110x150mm dimensions
- 665g weight
- Bundled latches for a 120mm fan

Note that the vendor recommends additional 120mm fan for high-performance CPUs anyway. Note that cooler design fits into the new BTX layout and corresponds to the correct internal airflow.

The first watch made of electronic paper
E Ink together with Seiko Epson and Seiko Watch introduced the first watch featuring display made of E Ink´s "electronic paper".
The novelty is capable of displaying information along almost the entire surface. At the same time the display consumes a reasonable amount of energy and doesn´t require often battery replacements. Other features of E Ink/Seiko "paper watch" are:
- High image contrast, readable in broad daylight or dusk
- Thin flexible display
- Low energy consumption: backlight not required, "memory effect" for longer time displaying
Seiko is going to launch sales of its watch in Japan in about a year.
