Corsair unveils XPERT memory with LED lights and displays

Corsair Memory continues to surprise us with original novelties. This time it´s about DRAM memory modules with LED lights.

The aforementioned LEDs on Corsair XPERT TwinXP1024-3200XL dual modules (2-2-2-5 timings) indicate memory activity, while the 10-digit alphanumeric display outputs module voltage, temperature and clock rate. All these innovations are controlled by Memory Dashboard utility that enables to set display output strings (up to 23 symbols).

Plextor introduces PX-130A DVD and PX-230A CD-RW drives

Plextor introduced two new entry-level optical drives: PX-130A DVD-ROM and PX-230A CD-RW.

Plextor PX-130A is an improved modification of the previous PX-116A model, it provides 16x DVD-ROM and 50x CD read speed. The body colors include black and white. The bundle includes PlexTools Professional.

Plextor PX-230A, in its turn, is an improved version of PlexWriter 52/24/52 with rewrite speed increased to 32x. The drive has 2MB buffer, supports Buffer Underrun Proof. The package includes Nero Express CD and PlexTools Professional.

PX-130A will go on sale late in February for €40, while PX-230A will be available late in March for €45.
