Intel CPUs after a price cut: solid residue
Intel updated its OEM price list having cut prices for Pentium 4, Mobile Pentium 4, Celeron D, Celeron, Itanium 2 and Pentium 4 with EM64T. Pentium 4 Extreme Edition costs the same. The most considerable cut suffered P4 560 (3.60 GHz) as well as 550 (3.40 GHz). In the Celeron D/Celeron camp prices for Celeron D 335 (2.80 GHz) and 2.80 GHz Celeron were reduced most.

OCZ Technology unveils DDR2 800 SDRAM
OCZ Technology decided to demonstrate the features of new-generation DDR2 SDRAM and used DFI i915 sample to break through 766 MHz barrier and make PC4300 modules work with 4-5-5-15 timings at 793 MHz. According to the company, 766 MHz DDR2 SDRAM DIMM mean another step towards development and release of DDR2 800 SDRAM DIMM.
Currently, DDR2 SDRAM module includes DDR2 PC2-4200 (DDR2-533 SDRAM) Platinum, Enhanced Bandwidth series, DDR2 PC2-5400 (DDR2-667), Performance series, DDR2 PC-4200 (DDR2-533 SDRAM DIMM), Value series.
GIGABYTE introduces new Neon Cooler 7 coolers
GIGABYTE continues its 3D Cooler series with new Neon Cooler 7 designed for AMD K7 processors. Novelties include entry-level Neon Cooler 7, Neon Cooler 7 BL with LEDs and adjustable Neon Cooler 7 Pro.
The copper base is called to provide good contact to dissipate heat through aluminium heatsink and keep the heat laminar (non-turbulent). Finally, Neon Cooler 7 Pro can be adjusted from 1,500 to 3,400 rpm.
