OCZ Technology unveils DDR2 800 SDRAM

OCZ Technology decided to demonstrate the features of new-generation DDR2 SDRAM and used DFI i915 sample to break through 766 MHz barrier and make PC4300 modules work with 4-5-5-15 timings at 793 MHz. According to the company, 766 MHz DDR2 SDRAM DIMM mean another step towards development and release of DDR2 800 SDRAM DIMM.

Currently, DDR2 SDRAM module includes DDR2 PC2-4200 (DDR2-533 SDRAM) Platinum, Enhanced Bandwidth series, DDR2 PC2-5400 (DDR2-667), Performance series, DDR2 PC-4200 (DDR2-533 SDRAM DIMM), Value series.
