Pioneer updates DVD±R/RW series with DVR-A08
Pioneer updated its internal DVD±R/RW series with the new DVR-A08 (DVR-A08-J actually; we don´t know if it´s to be shipped to Europe or not). The model can have black, white or silvery front panel. Sized 148x198x42.3mm, it´s slightly bigger than a 5.25" bay, so a 130x15.6mm panel is bundled. The drive weighs 1.1 kg.

In our video lab we are also testing Micro-Star International PCX 5750 and RADEON X600 XT cards. Both have 128MB RAM. The first has 425/500 MHz clock rate, while the second has 500/740 MHz clock rate.

Leadtek PCX5750, PCX5900 in our lab
We are testing Leadtek PCX5750, PCX5900 graphics cards. Both models have 128MB RAM. The first has 425/500 MHz clock rate, while the second has 350/550 MHz (noticeably lower than 390/700 MHz AGP).

AOpen announces Aeolus PCX 5900-DV128 and Aeolus PCX 5750-DV128 graphics cards
AOpen announced two PCI Express graphics cards, Aeolus PCX 5900-DV128 and Aeolus PCX 5750-DV128. Both support NVIDIA UltraShadow, CineFX 2.0, etc. Bundles include user´s guides, WinDVD and LiveUpdate Wizard software, S-RCA cable, DVI-CRT adapter.
